Senior Partners

Our project builds upon this years challenge of finding a senior partner – our solution is a partnership between seniors and youth. It focuses on how we can benefit and draw upon Senior’s experience and offer them help to stay current with today’s technology etc. We wanted to come up with a solution that would help seniors feel proud of their experience and bring excitement and accomplishment into their lives. We Created a website, www.seniorinfluence.com where kids and seniors can talk and learn from each other. It gives seniors a way to meaningfully connect with the younger generations by mentoring and learning from them. Seniors can learn about new technology from the students and expand their social reach without going anywhere. Since its on the World Wide Web – Seniors and children can connect with each other around the World. The session can be over the web, Skype, or at the school.
