Team Description:
The ThunderBots are a rocking homeschool robotics team from Maryland. Our team consists of three rookies and two 2nd-year members. We enjoy building and programming robots, but we really love project work! It allows us the chance to dream big, write skits, and have fun while helping others. We learned a lot about challenges seniors have in their daily lives, and we are excited by the opportunity to make a difference for them!

Brief Submission Description:
FitPet is an exercise robot companion. It will lead seniors in cardiovascular, strength training, and stretching exercises at different levels. It comes in several pet shapes and speaks with an encouraging voice to appeal to seniors not only as an exercise companion, but as a virtual pet. We created our FitPet to be covered with fur and to include a handy container for holding small exercise equipment.
