Compact Fruits Keeper - CFK

We are team number 453 from Israel, Kiryat Bialik. We participated in the Israeli FLL regional competition in February 1st, 2012 that took place in Tamra. (A city in Israel) We continued to the final in Nokia (Yad-Eliyahu) Hall, in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Our product is called CFK (compact fruits keeper) and it is designed for storage and preservation of fruits. CFK can extend the shelf life of different fruits (mainly citrus fruits) by 3 times or more. According to experiments we've done, the product can extend the shelf of bananas from 2-3 days to almost 2 and a half weeks. The main advantages of this product are that it is costumed for home usage, it is friendly to the environment and of course, compact - as the name says. Additionally - We are working with the municipality legal adviser in order to register a patent. Our product is fully original and not exists in the market. We were candidate to the best research project with 2 marks under maximum (8 maximum marks
