G-Force is a team of creative, motivated students who love to program their robots for sumo wrestling, tug of war battles, and FLL competitions. Last year we won the Food Factor project award and advanced to the state level competition. We enjoy working together and hope to get a patent for our invention, The Cleansing Conveyor.

Brief Submission Description:
The Cleansing Conveyor is an improved conveyor belt that resembles ones in supermarkets, but stays clean by itself. It prevents cross-contamination in factories, stores, and school.
Have you ever seen your parents separate their food at the checkout counter? We’ve tried it. But, we’re placing food on already contaminated conveyor belts (even by the customer’s purchase just before ours).
Our invention eliminates cross-contamination. As our conveyor belt circulates, an ultra-violet light kills the bacteria. The ultra-violet light is built beneath to cleanse it during every purchase that each customer makes.
Factories will use our larger versions to sanitize conveyor belts that process foods by the bulk. Smaller lunch table sized versions will be inserted into lunch tables, so that students all over the world can eat on sterile tables. The lunch staff can simply press a button and input a staff code to activate it between lunches. With your vote, the problems are solved.
